Nine Months Old!

Wow! I bet you all thought I had given up on the blog. Nope. I've been spending all my time with this beautiful girl.

First Picture.

Three months old.
(And the last time I posted)

Nine months!

Simply put, life has been crazy in the last few months. At the beginning of the year, Mike was deployed to Germany. Molly and I headed to Tacoma for a month to break up the time he was gone. When Mike left Molly was barely two months old and couldn't hold a toy yet. We went through a lot of firsts without Daddy, but we sent pictures and video everyday so he could keep up with us. Lucky for me she didn't sprout any teeth while he was away and she stopped going to bed at 1am. When he came back she was almost 5 months old, just about sitting up, playing on her own, and had learned to laugh.

Lots of this when Mike first left

Favorite toy.

Cool kid.

We made the most of it.
At least we got to spend a lot of time with Grandma and Grandpa.

We spent lots of time at the duck pond.

First time in the grass.

First time eating rice cereal.

First time in the snow!

It was cold...

First mum mum.

Lots of grocery shopping.

Excited for Daddy to come home!

Reunited!
Getting reacquainted.

First real food! Sweet potatoes.

Picnic at the park.

We took a short trip to Hot Springs and stayed in a cabin,

Molly meets Great Granny!

At least she's not going for the eyes.

First trip to the zoo!

Easter

I love capturing pictures of Molly's personality.
Her silliness,

her sweetness,

and her curiosity.

We finally had our first real date night since Molly was born!

Miss Molly has become quite the traveler. We made a trips to Tacoma in both May and June. In June we had her Baptized. We flew again in July to spend the 4th with Mike's family.

The Pope blessing Molly. (ha!)

Godparents!

Grandmas!

Grandpas!

Mike's birthday!

The fireworks.

We took family photos in Salt Lake!

My favorite picture of these two. :)

She loves the pool.

And flushing toilets.

I'm always trying to find new activities to keep her busy.

She has grown so much in just the last month! In the course of two weeks she learned to wave, ask for more, clap, and got really good at walking. She can even say a few words (her versions of them anyway), including: Dada (she only says Mama when she cries), Ella and gentle. Ella is definitely her favorite "person" and they really are best buddies! They play tug o' war everyday and Ella is always ready to get "the baby" out of her crib. Ella especially likes mealtimes; Molly recently learned how to feed her.

Happy nine months Beautiful!
