Projects and Valentine's Day

Hello everyone! We're doing well here in Little Rock! Mike has been working a lot and even getting to fly. We have been working on a few more home improvement projects. Last post we had pictures of the armoire that I took the doors off and made a coffee table out of. We cut the rest of it apart and made a desk and storage out of the pieces. We made the top of the storage into a bench seat as well! We had a wonderful, romantic Valentine's Day at home (we went out the weekend before) complete with delicious dessert! And as always there are some photos of our adorable pup! Enjoy the pictures!

House Projects and Puppy!

Things have been going along steadily here in Little Rock. Mike is out of the schoolhouse and in the squadron now. Within the second week we were volunteered to run the squadron barbecue and got the chance to meet a lot of new people! We've worked on a few new projects in the house. Ella was spayed last week and is quickly returning to her normal self after a few days of an itchy, sleepy puppy.

This is what happens when Mike gets ready for work.

Finished!

Old kitchen handles.

New kitchen handles!

Apparently the cool place to sit.

OOPS! Left the phone books out when we went to dinner!

Forgot a before picture, but this was all white and a little dirty. Cleaned it up, painted, and distressed the whole thing!

Armouire. We are currently in the process of taking it apart to re-purpose the pieces.

Coffee table out of the doors!

Day of surgery.
