Last weekend we went to the zoo here in Little Rock! It was a lot of fun and a great day for the animals. It was warm and cloudy so they were all out and about! We got lots of pictures. Last night we went to the squadron Christmas Party. And tonight we opened Christmas gifts for each other and took some fun pictures at the Capitol building which is elaborately decorated every year. Enjoy the pictures!
A must...
The little monkey needed help to get out of the rain.
Giant Tortoise was awesome! He was really interactive!
The otters were showing off.
The tiger was licking the wall...
...apparently it didn't taste good.
All dressed up for the party!
Ella's present
Looks like a big cigar.
Digital SLR camera! Thanks Hubby!
One of Mike's presents is a remote control car that is also a Transformer! He wanted one so he could chase Ella around the house!
All of these pictures of the capitol building were taken with my new camera! They came out great!
It has been a while since we have updated! We have been pretty busy here in Little Rock. Now that it's fall we have leaves in the yard ALL THE TIME! Even when we rake it doesn't look like we just raked by the next day. Mike's parents came down to visit in October (and we took pictures this time!) We went to the pumpkin patch before Halloween, but then we forgot to carve our pumpkins. We hosted Thanksgiving with some friends. And we have been getting ready to make a big trip home for Christmas! Not too much going on other than work and trying to find new and interesting things to do. Enjoy the pictures!
Looks like Alien...I guess.
Mike's new tree trimmer. Look how proud he is!
Pumpkin patch!
Found this frame at an antique shop and made it into a chalkboard for the guest bedroom!
There's not a lot of new stuff going on here in Little Rock. The weather is finally cooling off! The cool weather has made the morning runs much more pleasant for me and Ella. There have been hundreds of squirrels in the yard and Ella has been chasing the every one she sees. Mike has been working hard and flying whenever he gets a chance. Work in the cupcake business has been good. I normally work twice a week so I get plenty of time to make dinners for my hubby and keep up with my Red Cross volunteer work. Check out the new tile back-splash we did ourselves!
